Replacing Insulation

Replacing the insulation is usually only necessary if it has somehow gotten wet. Since your CHAMBERS is sealed all the way around, normal deterioration is greatly slowed.

To replace it requires a complete dissassembly of the range, and is not for the faint of heart. There is, as I understand it, a newer material that is designed for use in high-temp areas, like stoves, so you should use that if you decide to tackle the project.
